Nike Free Running Trainers Smartphone or PDA with integrated infrared
This paper describes the design, development, and Nike Free Running Trainers testing of a Flexible Tag Datalogger (FTD) for improving food and goods logistics during transport, storage and vending. This miniaturized device integrates three sensors (temperature, humidity and light) and a microcontroller, which manages the sensors in a power safe mode and records the ranges of the measures on its memory. The transmission of data is based on an infrared communication (as alternative to the RFID technology), making the device able to communicate with the most common personal devices, such as Smartphone or PDA with integrated infrared port. This paper reports the effects of phenol, as a carrier, on the kinetics and thermodynamics of the dyeing of polyester fibre with some substituted benzothiazolyl azo dyes. The dyeing rate constants, the thermodynamic affinity and the apparent diffusion coefficients depend on the carrier concentration and on the dye structure, i.e. the presence Free Runs of hydroxy groups in the N,N-diethylamino moiety of the coupler and of the phenyl ring between the thiazole and azo group. The results indicate the phenol does not behave by plasticizing the fibre, but it mainly acts as dispersant of the dye in the dyebath.
